Free Money for Childcare

The Child Care and Development Fund is a program administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that provides financial assistance to low-income families for child care expenses. Grants are awarded to states, territories and tribes based on need, and families can use the money to pay for care for children under 13 years old. Each state has a designated contact person for the Child Care and Development Fund who can provide more information about eligibility requirements and how to apply for benefits.
